Bartending/Alcohol Management Certification Program

Our Pittsburgh Bartending School includes a two part bartending/alcohol management certification program.

We provide RAMP, the Pennsylvania voluntary Responsible Alcohol Management Program, and TAM; Techniques of Alcohol Management. We are the ONLY Pennsylvania Bartending School to include RAMP training.

The programs are similar and not only train you for alcohol management programs within Pennsylvania, but TAM certifies you around the nation.

Various states and jurisdictions have tight regulations with regard to alcohol management. We have found TAM to be the finest alcohol management program in the nation and have provided it to our students for decades. Developed by industry experts and administered by the Michigan Licensed Beverage Association, TAM has been utilized for over 20 years and is the favored Alcohol Management program in a number of states, including Nevada.

Within Pennsylvania, full compliance with the requirements for RAMP training by an establishment may reduce liability insurance costs. Consequently, having RAMP training will enhance your ability to get hired and reduce the costs associated with training new employees that a RAMP certified establishment may incur.
There are no additional costs associated with our alcohol management programs.

Is this the same as a bartending license?

In most states, including Pennsylvania, and nearby states such as West Virginia, Ohio or New York, there is no such thing as a bartending license. Our bartending certificates though, are valuable, often required by bartender employers, and add value to your skill.
